About Our Soaps

Our soaps are handcrafted, all natural, and made with hand collected milk from our own herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. We use a blend of rich oils and butters for a gentle, moisturizing, conditioning yet cleansing bar with a nice lather. All soap is cured for a minimum of six weeks to give you a longer lasting bar. In addition to goats milk, some of our bars contain our home grown and dried botanicals as well as honey and beeswax from the hives that live on our farm. Our favourite recipe uses a large portion of locally sourced and ethically raised pastured lard which we render ourselves. We source all our ingredients with care and incorporate some organic, fairtrade and Ecocert verified oils and butters whenever possible. Our aim is to give you an all natural, sustainably created, Eco-friendly, yet wonderfully luxurious product with 100% biodegradable packaging.

Why goats milk?

Because it adds moisture, nourishment, creaminess and a rich lather! Goats milk is full of beneficial fats and lactic acids which are wonderful for you both internally and externally. Nigerian Dwarf milk is known for its high butterfat content which just adds to the richness! Our small herd of goats spend their days on pasture weather permitting and are organically fed.

Please note that as these soaps are individually handmade and cut, there may be slight variations from bar to bar. Some of the natural colourants may transfer during use but will rinse away. We don’t recommend using some of the darker coloured soaps with a white or light coloured wash cloth just to be safe.

To prolong the life of your soap, we recommend using a well draining dish to keep your soap dry in between uses.
